No Ordinary Life

Weight: 84.8 kg
Food today . . . a little chocolate and two chips, too much carbs and some chicken.
Thought: Never have I been this overweight or unfit. Pregnancy causes you to sit around a lot, especially in the last months, and then when sleep deprived and looking after a newborn 24/7 for months, there is a tendency to sleep when you can, and do some major emotional eating. Especially after a C-section, which requires longer recovery time. After all that, you find you are in a rut!
REMINDER: Starve body of all simple carbs and added fats. Eat high quality proteins and more veg.
Accomplished day 1 of week one of the C to 5K Podcast.
Average heart rate was 78%. Top heart rate was 89-91% after the jogs (91 after the last jog)
During the walking stints I only ever came down to around 78% of my maximum heart rate which, when I was much fitter, I would go quickly down to 55% for the times I did the walking in between the intervals of jogging.
It wasn’t at bad as I thought, and the Podcast is excellent.
Tomorrow I must get this over with first thing in the morning, not wait till evening.
(PS: The normal C to 5k is done only three days a week. This is fine for cardiovascular system improvement, but I need to lose weight and so need to do cardio many more days a week).
