I made one over the weekend using your recommendations - fun, easy peasy and I used up a lot of yarn. Mine is mostly blues and greens until the top, I added some yellow in the last few inches before the handle. When I finished I single crocheted around the handles and openings in black single strand (worsted weight). I just have to line it and I'm all set! Thanks so much! This is beautiful.
