Vintage Patterns

I love hunting in Op Shops for vintage crochet patterns. I love all things vintage. The old styles and fads fascinate me. Some are not so vintage, just bargains . . . here are some pics . . .

This woman looks kind of like the lady in the “puffin muffins” iSelect insurance ad on TV . . . don’t you think?

I love the “Mother and Daughter” sets and the long hoodie. I know you do too :-)

OK, some of this is a bit daggy, but the baby sleep suit is cute and simple. I don’t know why that little girl’s frown made front page?

The black top is classic enough to wear today (ignore the really bad hair-do) and I’m sure the orange top could still be cool in a better colour?

I love the white beachy look . . . . the wavey jumper is nice too . . .

Sometimes I never make the actual item in the pattern, but I mix and match ideas, or modernise the existing pattern. The options are endless and interesting.

It’s amazing what great bargains you can find at Opp Shops. I found sock yarn, even 2ply yarn that is just ready to dye and make into a shawl!.

    Great shopping
