I did a bit of a silly thing. It was for sale on eBay. An impulse buy. I don’t even know how to use it. I’ve got lots of people who can teach me and there’s even classes. There’s just something about making yarn from scratch and dying it in multicolours.
I bought a spinning wheel ! Yes guys and gals. That’s what I did. And so I’m going to learn how to spin. Now I know what you’re thinking. Old grandmas used to spin. I’m sure they wore bonnets and long flowing skirts and lace up boots, but no – spinning is now in with the youngins. There are classes popping up everywhere. If you can knit or crochet, if you’re an addicted fibre artist, you eventually want to control the whole creative process.
So here it is . . . I pick it up on Friday
