Hi everyone. After having two babies, and being very sleep deprived, I’ve put on a tonne of weight.
Today I joined the Couch to 5K challenge. This program takes you from being a couch potato to jogging 5 kilometres in two months.
The link below is the actual plan (its at the bottom of the webpage). The plan is all there for free. I got sucked into paying $20 for the paid plan, thinking I was getting a Podcast that told me what to do whilst I was working out. You know, jog now (60 seconds) and then, “walk now” (90 seconds), so I didn’t need to look at a watch. But alas, all it was was a calendar and daily emails. But the plan is all there on the web page for free.
The second link is amazing. A guy named Robert Ullrey made iPod recordings, with full trainer instructions on it, telling you what to do at every work out as you go, FOR FREE !! I have downloaded all of them in MP3, and I’ve got week 1 ready to go on my MP3 player. Now THAT is excellent!
I’m excited to think that in two months I will be able to do 5k. It would be such an amazing achievement for me !
If you are interested, here are the links, and drop me a comment !

Isn't this better than couch potato-ing?
Oh No! No comments on the C25K blog? Thought I’d say hello since I’m trying to keep up with the same thing…..slow and steady wins the race!
